I am a Lecturer in the Critical Writing Program at University of Pennsylvania and Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design. My research explores rhetorical dynamics among criticism, information, and art associated with aesthetic, technological, and theoretical innovations. In addition to writing, past teaching experience includes technical communication, science writing, history of infotech, new media theory, document design, and video production. University of Pennsylvania

Off to Philly.

Pleased as punch to announce I’ve accepted a lectureship at University of Pennsylvania’s Critical Writing Program, housed within the Center for Programs in Contemporary Writing. I’ll be leading writing seminars exploring 1) big data for “social physics” as theorized by MIT data scientist Alex Pentland and 2) behavioral-economic decision making as described by Richard H. Thaler and Cass R. Sunstein in their bestselling¬†Nudge.
